Education in Austria
All conditions for studying in 23 communities and 11 private universities operating during education in Austria have been created. These higher education institutions allow students to study in an extensive range. It should be noted that since 2009, free education in higher schools in Austria, which was canceled in 2001, was restored for citizens of the European Union and several other countries.
Thirteen universities are operating in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
It should be noted that all the universities of Vienna have switched to the Balonia teaching system:
- Bachelor’s education in Austria: Study period — 6 semesters. After completing their studies, graduates are awarded a bachelor’s degree

İnternational students are exempt from tuition fees. Every year, 160,000 international students study in Austria.
