Education in Slovakia
In many ways, Slovakia is a country that will make you feel the advantages of studying and living in Europe. The fact that the country is a member of the European Union, the official currency is the euro, and the level of development of the capital city of Bratislava are signs of the potential that studying here can bring you.
Within the framework of the traditional scholarship program announced by the Slovak government every year, students from many countries worldwide receive financial support for their studies.
Scholarship in Slovakia
In order to receive Erasmus+ funding, you must first be accepted to a course by a consortium of organizations and then be selected for an EMJMD scholarship. The EMJMD scholarship covers your participation costs (including tuition fees, library and laboratory costs, full insurance coverage, and any other mandatory costs related to your participation in the Master’s), is a contribution to your travel and installation costs, and covers a monthly living allowance for the duration of the study program. The total amount of the scholarship varies according to the duration of your course and nationality (non-EU students receive a more significant scholarship). At least 75% of the scholarships are awarded to candidates from Partner countries.
